Does Worrying Help Us?
Last week, I had the first call with my publicist assigned to the release of my book, Let Forgiveness Set You Free.
It was very exciting!
A lot of what I do is on my own – there’s no team, just me. So it’s nice to have the support of a seasoned publicist. Keep in mind my book is still small potatoes for them, she’s not booking me on Good Morning America. (more…)
What is the #1 thing we all worry about?
A few years back my gardener came to my door, it was not his usual day or time – I was very surprised to see him. The reason for his visit, he eventually got around to, was that he was having some financial difficulty. He very apologetically asked if I could pay him in advance. Of course, I paid him and then had a guilty thought, “am I paying him enough?”
As I drove to work that morning, I was thinking about his financial situation and how he might improve it and then it got me thinking about my finances. I’m not living paycheck to paycheck but do I have enough? I spent a few moments worrying.

Has Meditation Made Me Happier?
There’s been a lot of talk over Dan Harris’ book “10% Happier” – and often I am asked has meditation made me happier?
The answer to that is yes, it’s absolutely made me happier. I would estimate I’m at least 75% happier since I started meditating – maybe more; but not the way you expect.
I’m not happier in a giddy, excited – life is one great big party kind of way. And quite frankly I’m glad for that – that can get annoying after a while.
